Monster
A bonus post today with some photos Kristen and I took of Henry.
First off, we’ve taken “tummy time” (a prepostorous-sounding activity, really) to the next level with its variation “incline time,” where we use Kristen’s pregnancy wedge pillow to prop the baby up. Henry doesn’t love being on his stomach, but it doesn’t elicit wails like, say, bathtime does (he still doesn’t care for that one bit). It is, however, a great exercise to strengthen his neck, and over the past couple of days, he’s gotten strong enough so that he keeps his head up all the time (swiveling back and forth) whenever we carry him around.
No more floppy.
Second, there’s his monster booties. Not much to say there, really. They are booties that keep his delicate toes warm and they’re in the shape of some sort of claw. But not to worry, people. We clip the toenails daily. (And those are my favorite pants of his. Love the stripes.)
That’s it. More on Monday.
