Red and Yellow and Pink and Green
Some people have eyes that change color day to day, depending on the weather (or, more likely, what they’re wearing). Kristen’s eyes are a little like that, going from green to brown (although never really green or really brown, if you know what I mean).
Henry’s eyes are a vibrant blue and are pretty consistently that color, but there’s another part of him that changes all the time: his hair.
Some days, his hair is as blonde as can be. Other days it’s brown (like his parents). Yet other days it’s red (not Ronald McDonald red, but close).
I assumed that he’d have blonde hair as a baby, as both Kristen and I were toe heads at his age, but he seems to be taking after Kristen’s side of the family, which is full of orange and strawberry blonde mops.
Red, brown, yellow, blue, or green hair. It doesn’t matter. I’m just happy that he’s actually growing some.
