You Hate Me! You Really Hate Me!
I’m currently sitting in a meeting room in Denver, Colorado, trying to figure out how this city can get any dryer. (I don’t have a single ounce of water in my body, I think.) It’s that season again, where I’m gone for most weekends for the next month and a half. Although Kristen will have to do all the hard work on her own, Henry is now able to wash, clothe, and feed himself, so this won’t be any problem. Right, honey?
Of course, I hate being away from home, especially on weekends when I get to spend so much more time with the family, so to make me feel a little better, I check the site out to look at some pictures of the greatest baby in the history of the world. (It’s true, you know. I’ve done research. There was a baby in 13th century Tanzania that nearly came close, but Henry is still in the lead.)
So I log on, and, lo and behold, there are four comments for the most recent post. Four comments! Huzzah! But, after looking at them, I just have one question for you, readers: Why the hate? Yes, we love Kristen, and yes, it was an enjoyable post, but with every compliment, does there have to be an attack on my poor, delicate person?
We may have to start blocking IP addresses if this continues, people.

No need to worry… no one hates you… but I do think you’re going off the deep end a little
. We’re just trying to encourage both viewpoints… and if the praises posted help encourage her to do that, that is not a negative reflection on you.
It’s fun reading about all the trials and tribulations (some boardering on the neurotic), that all of us as parents have gone through ourselves
Both of you keep up the good work!!

Ha–no one hates you! We love Raphe too. It’s just a Kristen post is so unexpected and unusual.
