Do the Hokey Pokey
One of my best friends when I was young, Chris Hegstrom, was left-handed. My aunt is also a lefty. Both are very creative (Chris musically and my aunt visually), and while my sample size is pretty small for this survey, I feel that lefties tend to have more creativity.
(If you don’t believe me, go to any comic book convention and walk through the creator area and see how many people are drawing and signing things with their left hand. What? You wouldn’t be caught dead going to a comic book convention? Figures…)
So I was thinking since Henry is likely to become a famous something, he could get a one-up on the rest of the world by writing with his left hand.
Well, he’s just going to have to be famous without the benefit of what hand he favors, because it’s pretty obvious that he’s a righty. Henry picks up his food with his right hand, pushes around his cars with his right hand, picks his nose with his right hand, and will likely write the great American novel (in longhand) with his right hand.
He’s also started kicking things with his right foot. It’s not an angry kick; when Henry is walking around, holding my hand (he still isn’t walking on his own), and we come upon one of his many balls that litter the dining/play room, and he’ll kick them. How exciting is that!?
But he only kicks with his right.
Thankfully, he hugs with both hands.

Whoops — leftY sample set, that is. Creative, but not so bright.
